Last but one call for the Reading Retreat

The next reading retreat February 26th -March 1st still has some spaces on it. If you'd like to come speak to me by Friday February 9th. The retreat is at The Pines in Coldwaltham, West Sussex.
It will start on Monday afternoon and finish just before lunch on Thursday. The cost for the retreat is £40, we'll spend time reading different chapters of various books, studying a section of Romans, eating good food and drinking good wine.

For the next 2 Sunday nights Dick Lucas will be speaking. Dick was the minister of St Helens Bishopsgate in the city for nearly 40 years and he founded the Proclamation Trust which aims at improving and producing preachers in the UK. Do pray for him and us as comes and bring your friends.

Murat

The visit to Belgium went very well. Murat is quite an exceptional man. He's a Turk who spent time in Azerbaijan before going to Belgium.
He's church planting in Gent. They meet on Saturday nights and have around 30 attending. Murat hopes to be able to train new leaders and begin to look at church planting in Brussels. I was really encouraged by his wanting accountability and his humility.
He is married to Mahida and they have an 18 year old daughter, the plan is for him to come to Presbytery on 3rd March so hopefully we will get to see him at IPC, Ealing.

Please Pray for trip to Belgium

Tomorrow morning Paul Meiners, Bill Nikides travel to Belgium to examine a potential elder with IPC. His name is Murat and he is originally from Turkey but is church planting in Belgium. He's filled in the Presbytery questionnaire and given us a thrilling written testimony so do please pray for wisdom and discernment.
