This year you probably know is John Calvin's 500th Birthday and there are various Calvin fest's going on around the world. There are two events in London that might be of interestOne is this Thursday at Grove Chapel, Camberwell where Sinclair Ferguson will speak at 7.30 on 'Calvin for everyone'.
The other event is the Evangelical Library Annual Lecture on June 1st 6pm at Bethesda Baptist Church, Kensington Place, Notting Hill, W8. Derek Thomas will be speaking on 'The Majesty of God in the Preaching of John Calvin'.
Calvin memorabilia will be on sale I expect at both events as publishers are cashing in on the anniversary.
